Ole’s Waffle Shop! After mass, Jack and her familia (including her parents) and our familia went out for breakfast. I tell ya, breakfast is my favorite part of the day. There is always always a very long line at Ole’s especially around 10’ish on the weekends but luckily we didn’t have to wait too long for a Sunday morning. Papa D knew some of the folks that works at Ole’s so after we ate, we “toured” the kitchen and I quickly took a snap shot of this “fellow” making pancakes. Just a little note though . . .this is my own “taste bud,” but I prefer Jim’s only because of their
home-fried potatoes and fluffy French toast, and they give you 2 eggs with a combo, not just one. (oink!) However, the wait staff here at Ole’s are all very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately my combo plate I had ordered doesn’t come with hash browns so I had to get some of the hubs’ hash browns as he and JP both had omelets that came with them. (That’s the piggish in me!) 🙂 Well, we all had an enjoyable breakfast that lasted us through dinner as the familia had “skipped” lunch and went straight to having dinner at home right after AC’s 1st basketball game for the season.
